Frans Joziasse lecturing at Norwegian Design Day
The Norwegian Design Day (2. of April 2014) is among the country’s most meaningful days for design and innovation. The topic of this year is to look at design from all angles. Frans’ lecture will approach the question of what the success criteria for design and innovation are, in order to add value to business. The collaboration between PARK and Bang & Olufsen is going to be the lead case in presenting a generic framework. B&O’s Alan Krog Erlandsen, will share his experience of the journey that B&O and PARK made in developing and implementing a framework of integrated Design & Innovation Management.

[Raymond], our annual Design Management retreat is a place “where design professionals meet and exchange their surprisingly similar challenges”. This year’s invitation only event, [Raymond] 2014, focused around the theme of Design Resources; deep diving into where to FIND people, how to RECRUIT them, how to DEPLOY them, and how to DEVELOP them. Developed from an experience design approach and delivered in a “gamification” format, the event was played out by teams on a game board switching between a mix of researched “fast facts” and “deep dive” challenges which were brought forth by the participants. With special guest Tom Lockwood (former President of DMI and now leading a top tier design recruiting firm) as lecturer and game participant and a great mix of design leaders from leading global companies across Europe, the even brought forward new insights and best practices on how to build great design resources!
